My dentist, who I have known for close to 30 years told me that Invisalign could correct my teeth in 5-7 months. One and a half years later my molars do not meet on both sides of my mouth and my right incisors hit each other.

I sought a second opinion from an orthodontist and he said that I will need braces to pivot my molars in the correct position (where they were before Invisalign). I then gave that information to my dentist, he met with the Invisalign orthodontist and they tried to tell him that I grind my teeth. I didn't before and I don't now.

Bottom line: they can't or won't help me. I have to have braces.

If I had known this from the start I would have never started this process.

My advice to anyone is to see an orthodontist from the start.

Braces are the fastest and best way to get a correct ***. But let a trained orthodontist give you your alternatives, not a general dentist who has been sold the idea by Invisalign that they can correct any and all bites!

Reason of review: Bad quality.
